Clearing Campaign

Our Approach

We collaborated with City, University of London to produce a series of 6 x 30-second and 10-second films, a compilation film and 2 Spotify ads to show prospective students that entering university through Clearing is a way for them to achieve their ambitions, rather than a last resort. 

Our approach was to position Clearing and studying at City as a way to achieve a better future. The series put students front and centre, as they spoke about the choice they made to study at City and the societal challenges they chose to address through their studies.

We took a positive, sincere and authentic approach to the interviews, and balanced them with dynamic, punchy graphics. We then picked out key quotes from each interview and used a TikTok inspired aesthetic to appeal to the target audience.
