Student Recruitment Films

London Metropolitan University

Do Something You Love TV Ad

London Metropolitan University prides itself on its diverse student body, its fantastic central London location and its unwavering commitment to employability. It was these traits that the university wanted to place at the heart of a brand new video marketing campaign. As well as an overarching TV advert, the project also required a series of faculty and social media content. The films needed to have an element of visual consistency and to be creative and unique enough to stand out from the masses. High production value was key and a story that people could become emotionally invested in was also essential.

Kingston University London

Clearing Campaign

Following on from our incredibly successful 2017 Clearing Marketing Campaign, Kingston University approached Maia Films again to create a film for their 2018 university marketing campaign. The university marketing campaign brief for 2018 was simple: to inform prospective students about clearing and to let them know that they have different opportunities.

Swansea University

Making Waves Campaign

When Swansea University approached us to refresh the student recruitment campaign videos we created with them in 2015, we jumped at the chance to head back to the beach!

The brief was to create three new films, focusing on two students and an academic, all of whom feature as ‘icons’ in the new campaign.

Swansea University

Student Experience TV Ad

This project started life as an edit of existing content to showcase the unique student experience at Swansea. The film was so well liked and sucessful that they commissioned us to incorporate some of footage from a student recruitment campaign we produced and create a new VOD and TV Ad.

International Programmes

Our concept used back projected imagery relating to the contributor’s journey onto three walls. This approach created the illusion that the contributor was immersed in the location of their studies, bringing the story to life and helping it to stand out online. Daniel’s story was summarised through voiceover narration and a striking hero shot helped keep consistency with the previous two films.
