WORKING FOR US
We are nothing without our people, so it’s only natural that we want to work with the very best. We look for personality, passion, and drive – and a willingness to collaborate.
Providing there is raw talent, skills can be taught and we nurture professional progression. Things don’t always go to plan of course, and we give people the freedom to make mistakes and to learn from them. It’s important to have a culture that when things do go wrong we are there for each other to offer support and understanding.
The warm vibe of family and friendship is something people get used to when they join us, and miss when they eventually leave. Our personality can be defined as:
- Passionate and willing to innovate
- Commitment to learn and achieve great work
- Valuing long term relationships
Over half of our people started at the bottom, sometimes with no industry experience whatsoever, and worked their way up. Even Rob Jowers, the Managing Director of our sister company, started out with us in the most junior production role before working his way up to senior level. He has shown that anything is possible if the drive, talent and commitment is there.
Over the years, many, many people have come to work with us in entry level positions and have gone on to develop rewarding careers in the industry.
Laura Merrett – Senior Producer
Laurentiu Maria – Lighting Technician

Laura Merrett and Arthur Briggs joined on short work experience placements, were offered a junior position, and left years later as senior producers. Similarly there was Zabih Safdari who asked for work experience in our accounts department, and through evening classes, professional training and hard work, rose to become Financial Controller 5 years late
In the studios Jonny Franklin and Laurentiu Maria joined without any film experience, trained as lighting technicians and left after more than 7 years to work as freelancers in the wider industry on major film projects including the James Bond and Mission Impossible franchises.
